Originally from Montreal, Canada—the other CA =) and holding on strong to her Canadian Citizenship, Veronique Ory is now living in Los Angeles, CA.

Other than singing and dancing in her grandparents living room with Elvis microphone in hand, she really didnt get into acting per se until her mother suggested a program at the New York State Theatre Institute (NYSTI) at age twelve. This was an excellent program which included movement, voice, and acting. NYSTI is on the campus of Russell Sage College, which later became Ms. Ory’s Alma Mater.

After graduating in the winter of 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, Veronique made the big drive out to Los Angeles to switch gears and pursue film and television. You can see some of them on the "films" page.

Theatre has also been an important aspect in her career. She is the co-founder of Athena Theatre, a nonprofit theatre organization, founded in July 2003. It is through Athena Theatre where Veronique is able to produce amazing thought provoking work that she is truly proud of. Veronique has gained several awards such as being named Top Ten Best Actress in Los Angeles for 2004 by NoHo LA; And Top Ten Best Actress in 2003 by reviewplays.com.
